EDITION 2009
The first Artist Fair ART SHOW ZURICH has been a big success. More than 8000 people interested in art have visited in May 2009 this event in the Event Hall Puls 5 in Zurich.
Over 50 artists coming from 19 countries have showed their works personnally. Most of the works belonged to the domains of painting, sculpture and photographie. In the middle of the cultural city mall Puls 5,
the artists have founded a platform where they could present their new works and their art praxis.
LOCATION
Zürich West is a rapidly redeveloping area located in Zurich's former industrial quarter west of the Main Central Railway Station along the Limmat River. Highlights include the Puls 5 building including the Puls 5 exhibition-hall - a combination of renovated factory and new construction - and the Schiffbau, a former ship building hall which has been renovated to include a fancy restaurant and several theatre-spaces.
The neighbourhood also has many bars and restaurants, as well as a multiscreen movie-complex.
