JUSTIFICATION
The bars in my work, gather in a plural atmosphere the people, and they themselves are multiplied, by their diverse characteristics, that transfer to the spectator of the individual to the universal.
My large city, that I live and I feel, gives origin to my artistic expression and finds relation with other contexts, separated by the time, but interrelated with the work by the atmosphere and the things that happens inside of it, elements that contains meaning. As much as you find the vague, the drunkard, the couple, the friends, the bar, the tables, the glasses, music and liquor there and here, common elements, that are difference when the relations established in the context through the composition, change.
In the dark night the bar summons up life. The artificial light creates scenes loaded of mystery, by the light that paints the personages and the objects with capricious form, that reveal some things while others are hidden. The color is altered, is blue, red, very white, perhaps yellow. The figures are seen partially or they appeared like silhouettes. To this alteration of light, color and forms, adds the statuquo (been of the things): The inebriation friend of the night and the atmosphere of the bars, plays with the perception and so the enjoy of the bar is made pusher aesthetically.
The figurative from its origin has been retaken constantly throughout the history of the art: the Clasicismo, the Baroque, Romanticism, Hiperrealismo, Neorealismo. Partially they have retaken movements like the Fauvismo, the Expresionismo, the Dadaísmo. To paint and to draw the near thing are not improper. The improper would be to look for the indicated elsewhere to be created, when really the appropriate is to find the near things, to the immediate, that for me and for others has a symbolic meaning, because it is part of our being and to be.
Who does not enjoy the expression of the gesture, of a hand, of a heavy or lost glance, of the movement of a body, the warm and frivolity of a space, of the texture of the skin, the cloth, of the table or the floor, of the crystal and its brightness, the cigarette and its smoke? To play with these elements, allows to create an expression that, although autobiographical, continues being universal.

PRESENTATION
My work is located in a context, space - time in the figurative, concept-perception in the abstract, that through of the deconstruction, the analysis, the interpretation of the form, the color and the contained relations (inside and outside of the art work) offers a sense that it is impossible to understand through any other of the phenomenon that are not the aesthetic.
The realistic work can denote in its infinite variations, elements that correspond to spaces and particular times, but that otherwise, can be reinterpreted in contexts where take place felt, relations and meanings, diverses and differentiated.
I give account of realism with Baroque tendency. The theatricality of my assemblies, the tenebrism that is demonstrated in the handling of chiaroscuro and the subjects, it`s not only related by the aesthetic taste and the quality of the technique, but with the atmospheres in which the proposal topic is developed.
Urban and the nocturnal, spaces that surround to the personages in a fresh attitude of interaction, insinuation, movement, or of simple expectation, the images of high contrast where the light and the shade are polarized strongly by the artificial illumination of reflectors, lamps, and other sources, that radiate the light of direct form on personages and objects, reveal the theater sense of my compositions, but it’s not simply a previous assembly to the execution of the work. Who has visited and knows about the nocturnal atmosphere of bars and taverns, habitual spaces of encounter in our modern cities, visited and referenced by diverse authors in the history of the art, they will recognize in them the theatricality, the assembly, the personages, that great set of artifices (and, if it is allowed to me, of artificial relations) that are contained.
The dimension that acquires an artist in the time will go of the hand of its talent, technical and conceptual quality; my works consolidates and mature from the intensity of my searches, of my obsession by the improvement, my desire to transfer to the picture the daily, urban, nocturnal spaces, my own world transformed by my expressive capacity, is not just freshness (cool, light) of vision of the world; is about, what it is contained in the work: the solitude, the emptiness, the distance and the abyss.
